sometimes you think that everything is down, that the world is against you - and everything that can go wrong does.

she can get through anything with a smile, well, almost.

she hates being broke, and lately, unemployment has gotten the best of her. parking tickets, school loans and car payments come in the mail, overdraft seems to be a common thing as of late.

and she wants to cry. but tries to smile. and like usual. when she is stressed, her body takes over, and gets her sick. this time, with symptoms eerily resembling an ulcer.

"Gastritis" her doctor says. now a strict diet, some more stomach pains, single, but not sad - she tries again to smile, and call everyone she needs to - payment arrangements.

and her life has been quiet.

so she can hear the tears as they drop.
and she prays for a miracle.

and continues to smile,
she is never surprised when it comes.
she always knows that even if she is worried, even if she feels like she will fall, things will always workout.
and again.
sometimes, good things fall apart, so better things come together.

this week her prayers were answered.
and next week, they will be too.
